Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, test drives on a 100 percent made in Nigeria Electric Car towards encouraging Locally made productions.

Prof Osinbajo who was taken around at the Exhibition of made in Nigeria goods and Services at eagle Square Abuja to mark 60 years of Nation Independence expressed satisfaction over all products at the Expo.

Prof Osinbajo said, ” I’m impressed with the Car and other products showing to me since, I believe as a Nation we have everything to excel beyond any nation in the World”.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Richard Adebayo said the week-long event was aimed at promoting Small Scale Businesses and innovation.

“This is the time to encourage and give maximum support to our local Manufacturers to boost the Nation’s Economy, by developing Small Scale Businesses to thrive”. Otunba Adebayo explained.

Some Participants at the Exhibition, Dr Stella Iwuagwu and Miss Ebiere Awudu stressed the need for the government to create an enabling environment and Capacity Building for entrepreneurs to strive.

Other items brought to the Exhibition include locally made Gas-powered Car, Artworks, Health products, Cosmetics
Products and various Edible products.

President Muhammadu Buhari had directed that the Nation’s 60th anniversary should be a year-long event that will come to an end in September this year.
