Investigations have revealed that all of these arrests of opposition, attempt to cause rebellion and conflicts within the Muslim Ummah of Nigeria just like efforts have been made to destroy the traditional institution across the country are all part of Tinubu’s Agenda described by those data boys as the sure way to win the 2027 without the North once the inexistent Middle Belt and South are bought and put in the pocket.
Tension erupted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Thursday February 12, 2026 following reports that security agents believed to be working on instructions from the Presidency attempted to arrest former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, upon his arrival from Cairo, Egypt.
According to his media aide, Muyiwa Adekeye, the former governor was approached by security operatives shortly after landing but declined to accompany them, demanding a formal invitation.
In a statement shared on social media, Adekeye alleged that the operatives confiscated El-Rufai’s international passport from one of his aides after he refused to comply.
“As he arrived, security agents approached him, but Malam El-Rufai declined to follow them without a formal invitation. They, however, snatched his international passport from an aide,” Adekeye stated.
There was no immediate official confirmation from security authorities regarding the reported incident as of Thursday evening.
The development comes a day after El-Rufai, in an interview with BBC Hausa, said he could be arrested at any time. He accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of pressuring politicians to either align with the party or face political consequences.
El-Rufai further claimed that some of his associates had already been detained.
“Four people we worked with in Kaduna have been arrested; so it’s only a matter of time before they come for me too,” he said.
Observers note that if confirmed, the incident could heighten concerns about Nigeria’s political climate, particularly amid ongoing political realignments ahead of future elections.
