Tambuwal is a political juggernaut, Atiku says as ex-VP celebrates ex-Sokoto Gov at 58

Immediate past Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Matawallen Sokoto, is 58.

Celebrating him on his day, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar released a statement via his X account on Wednesday wherein he described the Nigeria’s former number four citizen as a political juggernaut.

Atiku noted that Tambuwal has success story in public service and private life that is an asset and inspiration to younger generation of Nigerians.

According to the statement, “H.E Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal is a political juggernaut who has achieved so much in public service.

“The celebration of your 58th birthday anniversary today is a testament to your alluring attainments. The story of your successes in public service and private life is an asset and inspiration to the younger generation.

“I pray that Allah (SWT) grants you the blessing of continued good health and strengthens you for greater service to our fatherland. Happy birthday, and please have assurances of my best wishes and that of my family,” Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said.

Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, a Nigerian lawyer and politician, is currently the Senator representing Sokoto South since June 2023.

He was Governor of Sokoto State between May 29, 2015 and May 29, 2023 after having served, first, as a Member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Member House of Representatives and, more essentially, as the 12th Speaker of the House of Representatives and number four citizen of Nigeria, which he was between 2011 and 2015 before ascending to the highest office of the Governor in Sokoto State.

Born 10 January 1966, Tambuwal, a royal blood in his country home, Maryam Mairo Mustapha Aminu Waziri and blessed with children.
