SPECIAL REPORT: Like Kwankwasiyah political ideology conducts mass wedding, so it does sponsored mass education abroad

*As first batch of Mumbai students jet out

If the business of journalism is about truth, integrity, accuracy and balanced information, then it is worth to inform our global particularly Nigerian readers that the Kano State Kwankwasiyah administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf (AKY) is not only about catering for family life of its people,  which it starts by conducting sponsored mass weddings.

It is also about other aspects of life it, in full consultation with Kano State stakeholders and report of the people’s need assessment, consider should necessarily be done. What is currently being done is sending of selected Kano male and female students for advanced education abroad ahead its planned knowledge-based development of Kano.

On Friday, first batch of these students departed the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), Kano for Mumbai, India via Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

This may not have trended in the mainstream media and social media like the “screamed mass wedding” was, it is the place of The DEFENDER to provide our readers and fans with this because, to this only Nigeria’s multi-lingual globalised newspaper, every truth and event especially performance of everybody matter. Moreover, when it adds to nation building and national values.

The Governor of Kano State, AKY, psted this development onnhis verified Facebook timeline with photographs of the departure exercise bidding the successful Nigerian students of his state extractions bye.

He was accompanied by leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) and former Governor of Kano State,  Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and other State leaders.

“The first set of sponsored students have departed for Mumbai via Lagos, on a chartered flight today.

“Other students will also depart through subsequent flights for their destinations. I am happy and grateful on their behalf for your support. – AKY”. The governor posted.
