Some ridiculous APC supporters – FRANK OFILI

“One APC top shot in Lagos even blamed President Buhari for the loss. Another wrote that Chief Oyegun betrayed the party by not endorsing Ize-Iyamu.”

I see some APC people trading blames everywhere on why the party lost the Edo governorship poll. One APC top shot in Lagos even blamed President Buhari for the loss. Another wrote that Chief Oyegun betrayed the party by not endorsing Ize-Iyamu.

Pray, what did they expect Mr. President to do? Rig the election for them, or deploy federal might? And what did they expect Chief Oyegun to do? Endorse a man Oshiomhole himself told the whole world, four years ago, was a thief?

How is it that these people never learn any lessons? How is it that they don’t want to accept they shot themselves on the foot?

How is it that they don’t see how the role Oshiomhole (and even Jagaban) played contributed to the party’s loss? How is it they don’t see that Edo people, with their vote, protested the treatment meted out to Obaseki?

Obaseki and the PDP won the election fair and square. APC’s loss in the election was even predicted. Some of us warned but they were adamant in their deification of Oshiomhole. To them, Oshiomhole could do no wrong, even against glaring facts on ground.

Now the chickens have come home to roost and they are looking for who to blame.

Some of you APC supporters are actually 10 times worse than the PDP you are condemning.

Within a space of less than 12 hours after election results were released, your candidate Ize-Iyamu made two conflicting statements – one accepting the election result and congratulating Obaseki, the other saying he was studying the situation and contemplating next line of action. The latter statement was obviously dictated to him by his masters. Exactly what did he mean? Giving indication that he might protest the result?

The election was free and fair and if APC cannot accept the result, then they are just simply ridiculous!

Waziri of Jaddah is back.

He is tweeting victory song from Dubai. He wants to claim a part of the victory. But he was not there when the fight was on. He was in his posh mansion in Dubai while Obaseki and Co were in the trenches.

But it is okay for Atiku to tweet victory song. Afterall, it is his party, the umbrella party that won.

Atiku is also tweeting end of godfather politics. But he is himself the McCoy of political godfathers. I can count at least 10 of his political errand boys.

He also tweeted end of political militarism. Can someone please remind him that we have not forgotten he was No. 2 man when his government sent soldiers to Odi community and mowed down everyone in sight.

Atiku was also No. 2 man when a private citizen heavily supported and armed by his government attempted a coup on a sitting governor. How many can we count that happened under a government Atiku was vice president. Is it the political assassinations?

But now he is in comfort zone tweeting victory song. Victory fought and delivered by the people of Edo State who stood up against injustice done to a performing governor by Atiku’s cohorts in the opposing party.

I no fit laugh.
