Senator Kwankwaso applauds Governor Yusuf’s transformative leadership in Kano

Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his outstanding performance during the first year of stewardship in Kano state.
According to a statement from released by Director General Media and Publicity Government House and Spokesman to the Governor, Kwankwaso made this known during a Sallah homage in Kano on Sunday June 16, 2024.
He commended Governor Yusuf’s dedication to advancing education and over his women empowerment initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of Kano State residents, which he said were in line with the values of the Kwankwasiyya philosophy.
Senator Kwankwaso expressed delight at the Governor’s commitment to empowering women with substantial support, noting its significance for rural entrepreneurs.
Drawing from his experience as a former governor, Senator Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of effective monitoring to ensure equitable distribution of empowerment grants.
Senator Kwankwaso called for enhanced efforts in security, empowerment of the less privileged, and advancement of developmental projects, underscoring his commitment as a stakeholder to provide valuable guidance and support to the government.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, in response, thanked Senator Kwankwaso for his mentorship and reiterated his administration’s dedication to upholding the principles of the Kwankwasiyya movement for continued progress and development in Kano State.
