Sarkin Fulani of Lagos appointed as Patron of MACBAN

The Sarkin Fulani and Chairman, Council of Fulani Chiefs, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, His Highness,Alhaji Dr. Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II, has been appointed as the Southwest Patron of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN).

The appointment took place at Lambamba Hotel, Ibadan, Oyo State, and was attended by Arewa leaders and other tribes from the Southwest and other parts of the country.

The Galadima of Lagos, Alhaji Aliyu Bambado, thanked the government and people of Oyo State for their hospitality and appealed to the Arewa community to be law-abiding citizens.

The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos promised to serve MACBAN accordingly and thanked the people and government of Oyo State for providing a peaceful atmosphere.

The occasion featured Fulani cultural dances and delicacies, including Fura da Nono, which was appreciated by the Kanuri community.

Mallam (Dr) Ahmed Isa Jimeta, Kakaki of Arewa Council of Chiefs, Lagos, congratulated the Sarkin Fulani of Lagos on his well-deserved appointment and thanked leaders of the Arewa Council of Chiefs, Lagos, namely: HRH Alhaji Aminu Yaro Dogara,sarkin Hausawa of Lagos and chairman Arewa council of chiefs,lagos,The Mai kanuribe of Lagos Alhaji Dr. mele Abacha.HRH Alhaji sanni Yakubu Ejima.Onu Igala Lagos state,Sultan Arab shuwa of lagos and Wakilin Nupawa of Lagos state for their support towards peace, unity, and development of the Arewa community.
