Russia vindicated as Iran detects, dismantles two terrorist cells used by US, Israel to invade country
It would be recalled that Russia recently presented Iran with an intelligence report that revealed how not to let down on its guards on the basis of United States President Donald Trump negotiations and ceasefire agreement as, according to it, Washington was using that to suddenly invade and take over its military bases through ground operations within the Persian state.
Iranian authorities say they have dismantled two alleged terrorist-Takfiri cells during a security operation in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, arresting four suspects and killing two others in clashes.

The latest unveiling of two terrorist cells by Iran has been described by analysts as possible alternative route by the adamant but falling superpower (America) to launch ground invasion through illegal and unconventional approach unknown to any international law, thus exposing it as a country that cannot be trusted.
According to Iran’s Intelligence Ministry, the operation was carried out in the city of Khash in coordination with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Force’s Quds Base and police forces. The ministry said the cells were identified before they could carry out planned acts of sabotage.
Iranian authorities alleged that the suspects were operating under the cover of Takfiri militant organisations and were linked to what Tehran described as the intelligence services of the United States and Israel. The ministry said the alleged cells were preparing attacks against economic and civilian infrastructure in southern parts of the province.
The two suspects who were killed reportedly died during armed clashes with Iranian security forces in Khash, while four others were taken into custody. Iranian authorities have not publicly provided independent evidence establishing the alleged US-Israeli intelligence connection, meaning those claims should be understood as allegations made by Tehran.
The development comes against the backdrop of heightened tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States, with Iranian authorities repeatedly warning that foreign intelligence agencies could seek to exploit militant networks and instability along Iran’s southeastern borders.
Sistan and Baluchestan, which borders Pakistan and Afghanistan, has long experienced attacks involving armed separatist and Sunni militant groups. Among the most prominent organisations operating in or associated with the region is Jaish al-Adl, which has carried out attacks against Iranian security forces. International assessments have also documented a history of militant violence in the province.
In a separate security operation in Zahedan, Iranian authorities also reported the dismantling of a criminal gang allegedly involved in planning kidnappings and activities aimed at disrupting public order.
Iran’s latest announcement therefore appears to form part of a broader security campaign in Sistan and Baluchestan aimed at preventing militant attacks, criminal activity and alleged foreign intelligence operations.
However, details released by Iranian authorities remain limited, and the allegations concerning foreign intelligence links have not been independently verified by outside investigators.
