Reaction

Reacting to the report, Kamal Akintunde, who is Secretary General of the Ogun State Muslim Council (OMC) under its President General and Awujala of Ijebu Land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, wrote with drops of accollades on the journalist as published below:

I call it a special feature on Ramadan. It is unity driven, even beyond Ramlana, and better for the faith and the “Ummah”.

Kudos for this your act of reportage, aimed at nation building through intra-faith cooperation for societal growth and development.

Moreover, the report is apt, timely, rich and your painstakingly undertaking interview with critical stakeholders, cutting across added value to the story. It is journalism per excellence.

Equally noteworthy is your sensible and sequential presentation of respondents ,weighing the relevance  or appropriateness of their responses to story (objective) on one hand, (as reflected in the openi g or sub titles) and their leadership/institution they represent on the other hand (viewed from the body of the story)

I consider the story as that heralding the Muslims fasting season of Ramadan. Good, laudable and commendable.

Above all,I thank you profoundly for sustaining Yours Sincerely in the news.

Though your brother is seen and often referred to as a Lawyer because of his peculiar style if writing, moreso he adds “ESQ.” to his name, yet, he is a health professional with background in public health and health education. Nevertheless, no qualms as it is value added.

Above all, you are really undertaking being Sultan’s “Press attache”. It is “da’awah” and may you be rewarded by your Allah SWT. Pls, sustain the initiative. This Sultan is Allah chosen and has united the Nigerian Muslim “Ummah” more than ever before, while HE has equally encouraged and promoted Inter-faith harmony as ingredients for national growth and development.

May peace return to our dear nation.
