PS State House, Jalal Arabi, not suspended – Presidency
The Permanent Secretary, State House, Mr. Jalal Arabi, is not on suspension as erroneously reported by a section of the media, the Presidency has said.
According to a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Deputy Director of Information in the President’s Media Office, copy of which was made available to The DEFENDER, Mr. Arabi is at his desk dutifully attending to important state matters and is not under any probe, neither is he a subject of any enquiry.
The statement also said that there was “absolutely no truth in the spurious allegations levelled against the Permanent Secretary” and his office in the fictitious report published by an on-line medium.
It reflected Mr. Arabi’s comment saying, “I remain committed and dedicated to the professional discharge of my duties and I refuse to be distracted by adversarial forces.”
To further prove its point, the statement said that the Permanent Secretary and other Muslim faithful attended the Juma’at prayer at the State House mosque Friday afternoon with President Muhammadu Buhari in attendance.
