Professor assaults police orderly, charges maids to beat her up

Authorities of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have directed the immediate withdrawal of policemen attached to Professor Zainab Duke.
The directive, which was handed out on Wednesday, followed report of assault by the professor on her female police orderly.
It was gathered that the action was necessitated when Prof Duke of Area 11 ordered her maids to beat up the orderly.
She was reported to have said that there will be no consequences as she is a friend to the wife of Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba.
In the meantime, the police is currently investigating the case as the suspect will be brought to justice.
The DEFENDER gathered further that a tweet shared on Wednesday 21st September 2022 by a Journalist named Kenny Adewole had said Prof Zainab Duke of Area 11 allegedly beat up her police orderly with the help of her maids, insisting that nothing will happen.
The tweet said, “I hope the @PoliceNG will prosecute Prof Dike Zainab of Area 11 who assaulted her Police Orderly and ordered her maids to beat her up as nothing will happen because the IGP”s wife is her friend?”
Although not yet confirmed by the police, Kenny Adewole, in a follow-up tweet, said the culprits have been arrested.
“I can tell you that she and her housemaids have been arrested and will be charged in court. I will update everyone on her trial as well,” he said.
