President Buhari salutes Ganduje at 73, commends Kano Gov on security, infrastructure

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his hearty congratulations and best wishes to Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Governor of Kano State, North West Nigeria, on his birthday.
The Governor marks his 73rd birthday on the 25th of December and his wife, Professor Hafsat Ganduje marks her own on the 28th.
In a statement signed by Malam Garba Shehu, his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, President Buhari commended the Governor for his leadership and administrative acumen and wished him a happy birthday.
The President also saluted Governor Ganduje for his work on security and infrastructure, describing him as the builder of “a secure and prosperous Kano State.”
He urged the Governor to continue giving importance to the welfare of the poor along with development.
