Presidency posts update, detailing President Buhari’s appointments

In furtherance to its rebuttal of a Business Day publication that claimed in what the publication described as “Fact-Check” but which it had earlier dismissed as a string of misleading report put together to mislead the public against President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, the Presidency Saturday evening posted a tabulated details of President’s appointments, disproving the allegations of lopsidedness.
“Here is an updated table of President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointments, disproving the allegations of lopsidedness,” the Presidency said in a statement issued by Mr. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
Introducing the tabulated details, Femi Adesina noted that although the publication by Business Day listed 100 appointees, “here is a list of over 150 agency and board appointments.”
