PHOTO NEWS: Sultan of Sokoto arrives Maiduguri ahead Northern Traditional Rulers Council meeting

The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar CFR, mni, on Monday April 14, 2025, arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State capital ahead of the 7th Executive Committee Meeting of Northern Traditional Rulers Council (NTRC) taking place in the state, on Tuesday April 15, 2025.
The DEFENDER reports that the Sultan, accompanied by Emir of Gummi and Coordinating Chairman of Northern Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Highness Justice Lawal Hassan Gummi, and the Galadiman Geri of Sokoto, His Royal Highness Alhaji Attahiru Aliyu Galadanci, and other members of his entourage, was received at the Muhammadu Buhari International Airport Maiduguri by the Shehu of Borno, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, and other Borno monarchs.
