Ondo State Governor, Arakurin Rotimi Akeredolu recently came to the rescue of accident victims on the ever-busy Owo-Ikare road.
The governor who was returning from a project tour in Ikun Akoko ordered his convoy to stop to enable him provide help for the victims.
Sighting the accident, Governor Akeredolu quickly rushed down to the scene and ordered that the coastal bus that conveyed journalists and some staff of the ministry of works be evacuated and be used to transmit the victims to Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owo for treatment.
The road is presently undergoing repairs following the intervention of the Ondo State government.
