The Osolo of Isolo Town in Akure South Local Government of Ondo State, His Royal Highness Oba Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, has sympathised with the ‘talk-an-do’ Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), who lost his mother, Lady Evang Grace Akeredolu, in her sleep on Thursday September 15, 2022.

The Osolo, in a condolence message personally signed by him and released by the Palace to The DEFENDER Friday night, expressed the sympathy on behalf of the Osolo-in-Council, the entire indigenes and residents of Isolo town “to the entire citizens and residents of Ondo State, especially our dear Governor, His Excellency Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, and the good people of Owo Kingdom on the passage of Evangelist Mrs Akeredolu at a ripe age.”

Also speaking with newsmen in his palace, the Osolo described the passing of the mother he called “adoring mother” as transition to eternal glory of a fulfilled mother who has gone to rest in the splendor of God’s bossom.

Osalade II also sent his unreserved royal condolences to “Iku baba yeye, alase Ikeji Orisa” the Olowo of Owo Kingdom, HIM Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin, Ogunoye III, for the loss of a rare gem and prominent indigene of his kingdom.

Oba Edward Adewole continued in his message by thanking Governor Akeredolu who, by his performances in office has attracted accolades including ‘across the state felt’, ‘talk-and-do’ and ‘progressively impactful’ to himself, “for subjecting the roars of uncertainty surrounding Osolo’s throne by giving Government recognition.”

The Isolo monarch thereafter prayed that the entire family of Evang. Mrs Akeredolu will continue to progress and wax stronger after Mama’s transition.
