OPEN LETTER: Let NIREC uphold the truth or go into extinction

It is sad that Muslims, who had shown absolute love, affection and camerideria to Nigerian Christians, are now being criminalised and being satanised on the international arena.
I tried all that was humanly posible to attend today’s (NIREC) meeting but it was not destined by Allah.
All the same communicating my thoughts through this message will be extremely comforting to me.
Since the formation of Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) in 1999 as an amalgam of same number of Muslims and Christians in Nigeria to enhance religious and communal peace and harmony, I have retained my membership.
To say NIREC had succeeded totally in this lofty objective would be an exaggeration, and to allude to the view of total failure would be an unforgivable hyperbole.
However, the defining moment for our Christian counterparts to exhibit truth and honesty to their Muslim counterparts in the 26 years of hobnobbing and showing love in its absolutism was the fake and irresponsible declaration by Donald Trump’s fascist American government that there is Christian genocide in Nigeria.
I was extremely flabbergasted that NIREC did not come out boldly to correct this deliberate false narrative.
CAN that was the counterpart of Nigeria Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) initially maintained in inglorious taciturnity before eventually coming out to support Donald Trump’s deliberate falsehood to open the opportunity he had been looking for to create religious tension in Nigeria and destroy our economy that is on the ascendancy.

I was shocked to the marrow and made attempts to contact the CAN President Bishop Daniel Okoh, whom i respect as a fine gentleman and a peaceloving homosapien, he never picked my call.
I now called Pastor Ezeakor Williams, who I nicknamed my daughter and works in the executive arm at CAN Secretariat.
Her advice to we Muslims is to come out and make a proclamation of our perspective of what Donald Trump said.
I congratulated her because America has developed a bomb that when it explodes on our beautiful country it can differentiate between Mary and Mariam, kill Mariam and leave Mary unscathed.

What is known to be true is that they are agents of western powers to give Islam a bad appellation.

The most recent was the murder of two catholic priests of Enugu Diocese, Reverend Mathew Eya, and Mathew Igwebueze by members of IPOB. CAN did not say a word of condemnation.
Catholic Bishop Wilfred Anaegbe of Markurdi diocese who held a world press conference to ask American government to assist against Christian genocide in Nigeria maintained a criminal silence.
Similarly, Christians would be guilty of collective amnesia if they fail to acknowledge that within christendom in Nigeria terrorists abound in legion. On the 24th of june 2018, seven Muslim travellers including Zayyan Gwandu a former aide to erstwhile Adamu Aliero and Zayyan Shalle, who was working with Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) were murdered at Bukuru byepass, Jos South Local Government by Christian youths.
A Christian was apprehended at All Saints Church Kaduna with an attempt to bomb the Church.
If he was not caught, accusing fingers would have been pointed on purportedly Muslim terrorists.
Eight Muslims were murdered in 2014 at Maraban Foron, in Ali Kazaure, Jos, on their way to attend a wedding in Mangu, Plateau State.
On the 24th of May 2014 three innocent travellers from a Maulud celebration were intercepted and murdered at Rayfield, Jos by a Christian mob.
On september 3, 2018 at Dura Du, Jos South Local Government, General Idris Alkali was murdered and his remains thrown into a stream just because he was a Muslim.

If we would come to NIREC and not speak the truth WE SHOULD ALLOW THE ORGANISATION GO INTO EXTINCTION
