Former Ondo State Governorship Candidate of Labour Party in 2024 election, Dayo Olubo Dayo, has extended his “deepest condolences” to the family of late Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, a renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, who passed away at 94 on June 28, 2025.

“We mourn the loss of a visionary leader who made significant contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth, Islamic education, health, and entrepreneurship. His commitment to public service and philanthropy has reshaped many lives in Nigeria and beyond,” Olubo said.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dantata family, the government and people of Kano State, and the entire nation during this difficult time. May Almighty Allah grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus and give his loved ones the strength to bear this loss.
Dantata’s remarkable impact on Nigeria’s business landscape and his role in inspiring countless individuals, including Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s wealthiest man, will be deeply missed. His legacy will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
