ONDO: Gov Aiyedatiwa appoints Adeyemi Olayemi SA Environment, 9 others

Former Chief Whip of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Mr Adeyemi Olayemi has been appointed as Special Adviser to the Governor of the state on the Environment.
Olayemi, from Owo, Ondo North, has been ally to both late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and current Governor, Sir Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who appointed him on Wednesday June 19, 2024.
The DEFENDER reports that Governor Aiyedatiwa, who approved this, also announced the appointments of two other special advisers and seven senior special assistants to his cabinet.
Announcement of the appointments was contained in a statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, at Alagba, the Ondo State seat of government in Akure.
According to the statement, Governor Aiyedatiwa approved the appointments in continuation of his efforts to enhance governance and service delivery to the people of the state.
“In continuation of efforts to enhance governance and service delivery to the people of the State, the Governor of Ondo State, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of three new special advisers and seven senior special assistants.”
According to the statement, the newly appointed special advisers, aside Mr Adeyemi Olayemi (Environment), are Mrs. Seun Osamaye (Women Affairs) and Dr Jibayo Adeyeye who was appointed as SA on Legislative Matters and Special Duties.
Similarly, the new senior special assistants Olugbenga Atiba (security), Orioye Benedict (Youth Empowerment), Solomon Kevin (Student Affairs), Esakumoh Kebi (Women Affairs) and the trio of Bode Obanla, Olufemi Fadairo and Andrew Ogunsakin were appointed as Senior Special Assistants on Community Engagements.
While congratulating the new appointees, the governor urged them to bring to bear their wealth of experience and dedicate themselves to serving the people of the state.
