Abimbola Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), said, “The people of the area who have scampered to safety covertly made a distress call to Agbara Division, consequent upon which the DPO, CSP Yemi Oyeniyi led a team of anti-robbery to the scene and engaged the hoodlums in gun battle.
“After the shootout, four of the hoodlums namely; Muse Ibrahm, 23yrs, Alashe Olaleye, 23yrs, Efe Ejoh, 26yrs, and Olamilekan Adebayo were arrested while others escaped into the nearby bush with their guns and snatched money,” he said.
