Obasanjo, in ‘Kwankwasiyyah red cap’, as he, Atiku, Shettima, Tambuwal , Obi, others storm Kano for Kwankwaso daughter’s wedding
Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, arrived in Kano for the wedding solemnisation of the daughter of 2023 Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, holding at the Palace of Emir of Kano.
The former Head of State, who was received by Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, dressed in white attire matched with a red capknown to be the symbol of the Kwankwasiyyah movement.
Also received by the Governor were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, and 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, who were among the top flight figures in Kano for the wedding.
Equally sighted at the Emir’s palace were former Speaker of the House of Representatives and former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, Muhammad Abacha, senators, former governors, and prominent personalities.
Kwankwaso’s daughter, Dr. Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is getting married to Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal, son of renowned Katsina-born business mogul, Dahiru Barau Mangal.
