Nigerian President sacks Lola Ade-John, 4 other ministers from cabinet, makes new appointments

President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has removed five members of his cabinet including the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, and Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye.
The DEFENDER reports that the Presidency announced the changes following a Federal Executive Council meeting on head in the Council Chamber on Wednesday.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, the affected ministers were listed as Minister of Women Affairs, Barrister Uju-Ken Ohanenye; Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John; Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman; Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo; and Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim.
In the reshuffle, Tinubu appointed Sunday Dare, the former Sports Minister, as Special Adviser on Public Communication and Orientation, while Jumoke Oduwole was named the new Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Additionally, Bianca Ojukwu, widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (Rtd), has been appointed as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
