NIGERIA: Barau sacks aide over “Abba Must Go” post targeting Kano Governor

Nigeria’s Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has relieved one of his aides, Umar Alhassan, popularly known as King Indara, of his appointment following a controversial social media post targeting Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Alhassan was reportedly dismissed over a post that contained the phrase “Abba Must Go,” directed at the Kano governor.
