Names of 82 Chibok Girls released

Release of 82 Chibok Girls on Saturday has received commendations while some other people including the Ahmed Makarfi’s PDP faction who condemned the decision of the Muhammadu Buhari government to have negotiated with Boko Haram group such that it had to choose the swapping option.

Development partners and other groups including Human Rights Lawyer Onyekachi Ubani have however praised the work to secure the release of some of the girls kidnapped three years ago under the watch Goodluck Jonathan-led PDP’s government from their school in Chibok, Borno State.  They say no price could be too much to secure safe release of the girls from Boko Haram terrorists.

Documents available so far show the names of the 82 girls President Muhammadu Buhari received at Aso Rock Villa before departing Sunday evening for medical reasons to London.

The names of the 82 schoolgirls are: Kwatah simon, Grace Dauda, Junmai Paul, Tabita Pogo, Yanke Shetima, Junmai Miutah, Juliana Yakubu, Mary Yakubu, Ruth Kolo, Mairawa Yahaya, Rachael Nkeke, Fibi Haruna, Asaba Manu, Esther Usman, Filo Dauda, Awa Abga, Lydia Joshua, Naomi Bitrus, Martha James, Falmata Musa, Aisha Ezekiel, Awa Yerima, Mwada Baba, Hannatu Ishaku, Mwa Daniel, Rifhatu Soloman,  Maryanu Yakubu, Rebecca Joseph, Laid Audu, Amina Pogu, Sarah Nkeki, Esther Josiiuwa, Saraya Yanga, Ruth Amos, Hauwa Musa, Hauwa Ishaya, Glory Aji, Mary Ali, Rahilla Bitrus, Luggwa Mutah, Lataba Maman, Lydia Habila, Deborah Peter and Naomi Yaga.
