MURIC’s Ramadan 1446AH/2025 Lecture holds today, says Busari
The recently reported Ramadan Lecture of Lagos State Chapter of Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC Lagos), holds today Saturday Ramadan 8, 1446 AH equivalent to March 8, 2025.
The DEFENDER had earlier on March 2, 2025 published that the don of Lagos State University in Lagos Nigeria, Prof. Saheed Olurotimi Timehin, would be speaking as chief lecturer at the lecture.
Leadership of the foremost Islamic human rights group in the state had made this known in an exclusive media interview with The DEFENDER on Sunday March 2, 2025.
Chairman of MURIC in Lagos State, Dr. Jamiu Muhammad Busari, in a fresh chat with this global online newspaper, said “today is the D-Day for the lecture.”
According to the body, the lecture with topic, “Implementation of Shariah in a Multi-Religious Society: Examining the Rights of Muslims and Non-Muslims”, will be hosted by Prof. Ishaq Lakin Akintola, Founder and Executive Director, MURIC.
This global online newspaper reports that the MURIC’s Ramadan lecture is scheduled to hold in The Hall, Railway Central Mosque, Alagomeji, Ebute Metta, Lagos, at 10:00am on the said Saturday March 8.
