MURIC condoles Prompt News publisher as mum’s dies

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) on Friday commiserated with the publisher of Prompt News over the death of his mother, Mrs Sariyu Oyetunji, who died on Thursday at the age of 72.

In a statement issued Director of Muslim rights group, Professor Ishaq Akintola, MURIC said, “We pray that Almighty Allah will forgive Mrs. Sariyu Oyetunji, repose her soul in Al-Jannah Firdaus and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“We charge the publisher of Prompt News and his team not to allow this sad incident to dissipate the zeal with which they have been serving Nigerians on the platform of the online newspaper,” MURIC said.
