Mobolaji Johnson one of few best leaders – Gen. Olanrewaju

By Kemi Kasumu
Former Minister of Communications, Major General Tajudeen Olanrewaju (Rtd), has described the late Brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson, former Military Governor of Lagos State, as one of the best few leaders in Nigeria, particularly in Lagos.
General Olanrewaju, who sent a message from his home in London, United Kingdom, said there were lessons he learned from the late Johnson as an officer, basically in his commitment to service, humility and self esteem.
“I have just heard about the demise of Gen  Mobolaji Johnson. He was a compatriot, leader and gentleman officer.
“Lagos State has lost one of the best few leaders it’s had. May God comfort the family he feft behind. May his soul rest in peace.”
“As an officer there are some lessons I learned from him as our senior, his commitment to service, humility and self esteem,” Olanrewaju said.
