“I’m from Malawi where similar stinking scenes is a norm; Even several elderly persons have been hacked or burned to death without clear evidence, even in the full knowledge of the so called human rights organizations. Attempts to prosecute offenders have been futile and fruitless for about sixty years into the so called democratic dispensation. This is heartbreaking!”
Early Saturday’s report published by Nigeria-based Pan-African global online newspaper, The DEFENDER, titled “His final breath” has attracted reaction from Malawi, a Southern Africa and landlocked country surrounded on the eastern part by Tanzania and Mozambique, and western part by Zambia.

In the human angle story picked from the Facebook timeline of a Nigerian digital creator, Zaharadeen Ali Lawal who posted the presumable fiction as “copied”, heart rendering experience of how a man was killed extra-judicially over a wrong accusation of being a N20,000 thief was captured.
Passing its summarised message, The DEFENDER had said, “Government officials, security agents, individuals in Nigeria, Africa and globally, check yourselves to know how you have contributed to jungle justice in the past, present and still hope to do same in the future, then, change. No one is vested with the right to take life of any human creature unjustly, extra-judicially or through judiciary manipulations. Every lie or manipulation backed with any conspiracy of theory has an expiry date. Fear the unexpiring trouble of your conscience and save a life today!”

In his reaction, the Malawian vet medicine professional, Chazama Manda, said, “This is very common and infamous phenomenon in Africa, Muslim and the Arab world. That’s why white people demean our society and culture.
“We’re unable to control ourselves reasonably and responsibly. We live a barbaric life of the past and need to condemn it outrightly.
“Even in Torah, victims were stoned to death only after credible evidence of an offence – even at this, Christ Jesus condemned the type of justice
“It’s time Africa must let justice flow down like waters and righteousness as overflowing streams
“If our governments were committed enough, this barbarism would end – just by bringing perpetrators to book, which unfortunately doesn’t happen

“May God bless Africa,” Manda prayed.
Discussing this on a The Gambia-based Pan-African Movement Forum (PAMFO), representatives of member African countries were encouraged present their respective positions on The DEFENDER’s touching human angle report “to drive the course of the liberated Africa we desire.”
Responding to Chazama Manda without opposition to any of his submissions, another member from Nigeria noted that, “If the White demean us because of barbarism, they are the ones who introduced it to us. Africa used to have its own justice system before the coming of colonial invaders. We will do this from Nigeria for Africa.”
