Lauretta Onochie visits EFCC Chairman, seeks cooperation over NDDC, region’s assets

The Chairman of the Governing Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Lauretta Onochie, was on Wednesday a guest of the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam AbdulRasheed Bawa, in Abuja.

During the visit, Onochie discussed issues bothering on the need to protect the assets of the NDDC and Niger Delta region as part of the positive change her board is effecting in the Commission.

The interventionist organisation’s board leader made this known in a three-paragraph statement he posted on her verified Facebook page and picked by The DEFENDER.

“I was a guest of the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

“Our conversation centered around protecting the assets of the NDDC and the Niger Delta as a region.

“EFCC will support the positive changes the NDDC Board is poised to bring about,” she said.
