“We are strategising and  being intentional in our bid to unseat the incompetent gang of misfits who cannot tell the difference between our nation and their private businesses. The guy is gone,” she said.

Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital and Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, met with former Director General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Mallam Salihu Lukman, in Abuja, on Tuesday August 26, 2025.

Lamenting the current state of Nigeria amidst seeming directionless and policies summersaults being suffered, she said the meeting with “another Brilliant cerebral and outspoken brother, from the #HandShake Family, Salihu Moh Lukman” was necessary as the nation rides towards a better time 2027.

According to her in a statement, titled “DEMOCRACY, NOT MONARCHY” and posted on her verified Facebook page on Wednesday, “It was about the bright future which awaits our nation in 2027 as the handshakes continue to spread across our nation.”

The former Chairman Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) said, “It’s beautiful to be working with people who understand what you stand for and who have the same values, and ethics.

“Moreover, we are all genuinely concerned about the slide of our nation into a monarchical regime that prides itself on lies, lawlessness and impunity.

“We are strategising and  being intentional in our bid to unseat the incompetent gang of misfits who cannot tell the difference between our nation and their private businesses. The guy is gone,” she said.
