Labode Popoola appointed UNIOSUN’s new VC

The Governor of Osun State and Visitor to the Osun State University, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has approved the appointment of Prof. Labode Popoola as the new Vice Chancellor of the university.

A statement signed by the Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Office of the Governor, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, disclosed that Popoola’s appointment was in line “with recommendation by the Council of the institution which was signed and forwarded to the Visitor by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council, Mr. Yusuf Ali (SAN), after considering the report of the Selection Board.”

The appointment, the statement said, was with immediate effect.
