Kwankwaso visits Aregbesola, discusses national politics

Former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has visited former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, in his Lagos residence.
At the meeting on Saturday February 8, 2025, the former Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) disclosed this in a two-paragraph posted on his X handle.
He said, “This evening, I had the pleasure to visit the former Governor of Osun State and former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, at his residence in Lagos.
“The meeting afforded us the opportunity to engage in discussions on national politics, governance, and the future of Nigeria’s democratic landscape. – RMK”
The DEFENDER reports that Aregbesola, Buhari’s Minister of the Interior, was a long time ally of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose administration since May 29, 2025 as President of Nigeria continues to be talked about as one that inflicts unprecedented hardship, poverty level and hunger on Nigerians.
The Omoluabi Group led by Aregbesola finally quitted the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, recently.
