Aside the two, there are other Tinubu’s supporters in social media whose posts always expose the inner plots of the president. Some of the posts have assured how Tinubu’s re-election will be landslide without Northern Nigeria votes, adding that with all the states’ governors now in the APC and Institutions of state namely Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), court, police, military and some allegedly bought over main media, it will be a through pass to victory for their political master.

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has called on supporters of former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, to formally join the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Friday, Okonkwo said Obi’s loyalists who had not registered with the ADC could no longer be regarded as true “Obidients.” He argued that remaining outside the party amounted to disobedience to the movement’s current political direction.

Okonkwo recalled that during his time in the Labour Party, he considered it a strategic error to encourage supporters to spread across different political platforms. He expressed satisfaction that Obi had since revised that approach, noting that the former governor recently urged his supporters during an X Space interview to register with the ADC.

Praising the ADC, Okonkwo described the party as a platform for committed democrats, stressing that internal democracy was non-negotiable. He said the party had resisted imposing conditions or accommodating special interests to ensure a strong and disciplined foundation.

He further claimed that the ADC enjoyed strong backing in the South-East and suggested that politicians outside the party were indirectly supporting President Bola Tinubu.

Welcoming Obi’s recent defection to the ADC, Okonkwo said he was prepared to support whoever emerges as the party’s presidential candidate after the primaries ahead of the 2027 election.

In the meantime, a former member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and digital content creator, Uzoma Chilaka, has stood up to APC supporters Bello Isiaka and George Udom following a recent controversy surrounding social media comments targeting Muslim and Northern leaders.

Isiaka and Udom, both known APC supporters, were recently involved in a heated online dispute in which they allegedly made defamatory and threatening statements on Facebook against prominent Muslim leaders from Northern Nigeria, including Sheikh Ahmad Gummi.

The controversy reportedly escalated to legal action, with the two APC supporters dragged before a court in Kaduna over the alleged posts.

Their actions had drawn widespread criticism, with commentators accusing them of inflaming religious and regional tensions in the build-up to the 2027 general elections. Critics further alleged that the comments were made in an attempt to promote the political interests of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of a possible re-election bid.

Reacting to them, Uzoma Chilaka reminded the Tinubu’s supporters that, “Jonathan had 28 governors, a North-West VP, and still lost to Buhari. Tinubu also has 28 governors and a North-East VP today.

“History doesn’t repeat itself politely — it repeats results. Voters should relax not panic. Victory is on the side of angry and hungry voters,” Chilaka quoted Musa Sanusi.

In his own word he said, Batists, Tinubu nobi Jonathan abi? We shall see…!”
