Kano election court affirms NNPP’s Sen Hanga as winner

The Kano State Election Petition Tribunal, on Tuesday, has affirmed the election of Senator Rufai Hanga as winner of the Kano Central Senator.

The court also dismissed the suit by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulkarim Zaura.

Zaura is challenging Hanga’s candidacy, arguing that Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of Kano, is the rightful candidate for the party.
