Israel know where Iran is keeping its 60% enriched uranium – Netanyahu

According to Times of Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disclosed that Israel possesses “interesting intel” regarding the whereabouts of Iran’s 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent purity, a level dangerously close to weapons-grade.
Speaking in a prerecorded press conference, Netanyahu did not provide further details but emphasized the urgency of Israel’s recent military actions against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Netanyahu explained that Israel “had to act” because Tehran was accelerating its nuclear weaponization efforts, especially following the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in September 2024.
He also warned of Iran’s plan to manufacture 300 ballistic missiles per month, underscoring the growing threat to regional and global security.
The Prime Minister revealed that he had discussed these concerns with former US President Donald Trump, saying, “I told him of our need to act, and he understood it very well. I knew that when push comes to shove, he would do the right thing for America, the free world, and civilization.”
Turning to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Netanyahu stated that the war “could end today” if Hamas surrenders, releases hostages, and lays down arms.
He expressed optimism about Gaza’s future and revealed plans for a permanent peace, saying Israel is ready to negotiate based on proposals from mediators, including a potential 60-day ceasefire with partial hostage release.
The intelligence Netanyahu referenced likely relates to Iran’s underground Fordow and Isfahan facilities, where much of the enriched uranium is believed to be stored or moved.
