Islamic Medical Association partners Hon Zubairu on Medical Outreach for 1,500 Zamfara women, others

Over 1,500 beneficiaries, mostly women and children, are to benefit from National Medical Outreach being organised by the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN) in Bungudu Local Government of Zamfara State, in collaboration with the Member representing Maru/Bungudu at the House of Representatives in Abuja, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu.

Speaking at the flag-off of the three-day programme on Thursday February 15, 2024, National President of the IMAN, Professor Salisu Ismail, of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Teaching Hospital, Zaria, said they decided to organise the programme in the Federal Constituency because of the assistance Hon. Zubairu has been rendering to the Association.

He further informed that the lawmaker had rendered much assistance toward the progress of medical profession in general.

Professor Ismail also disclosed that the Association had mobilised several professionals and medical consultants for the success of the programme in Bungudu.

He commended Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu for building such magnificent hospital, well equipped with modern medical facilities for women and children in his community.

He called on other political office holders to emulate lawmakers, while also saying the programme would consist of theater, out patient, dental services, eye clinic etc.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Emir of Bungudu, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, commended Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu for mobilizing such important events to Bungudu and building women and children hospital for the community and beyond.

He further appealed to his subjects to make proper use of the facilities provided for their benefits.
