HRH Bachama, Adamawa Deputy Speaker, Numan LG Chairman hail Fit’anul Islam of Nigeria over successful event

The Adamawa State Chapter of Fit’anul Islam of Nigeria, under the leadership of Dr. Ibrahim Modibbo, have been applauded for its successful all-inclusive event held recently in Numan Local Government Area of the state.
The DEFENDER reports that the event saw various stakeholders, including Islamic scholars, business leaders, and youth from nine local governments in the Adamawa zone, being brought together for first aid training among others during the programme.
Featuring various other activities, including a visit to the Numan Correctional Services, where four prisoners with minor offenses were facilitated for release, the event also saw leaders and members of the organization visiting the Numan General Hospital, where they provided financial assistance to patients on hospital beds to take care of their medications.
Additionally, the organization’s officers and men were taken through first aid training, which is one of the basic objectives of the organization.
The officers and men were also decorated with their new ranks and two southern zonal coordinators were appointed namely: Hajiya Hauwa Ganye from Ganye local Government while Sheikh Abdulsalam from Numan Local Government respectively.
In his address at the main event in Numan, Chairman of the Group, Dr. Ibrahim Modibbo, thanked Almighty Allah for good health and the opportunity to organize the event.
He also expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness Hamma Bachama, who was represented by the Sarkin Hausawan Numan, and other dignitaries present.
In his remarks, Chairman of Numan Local Government, Mr. Innocent Koto, commended the organizers for the successful outing and promised to support them at all times now and in the future.
Also speaking at the event, Deputy Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakeino Mackondo, appreciated the organizers, traditional fathers, guests and members of Fit’anul Islam Adamawa State Chapter, particularly the Chairman, Dr. Ibarahim Modibbo, for choosing Numan as their location for the all-important event.
The programme ended with a closing prayer by Mallam Liman Hussaini.
