How Boko Haram, IPOB terrorists, bandits collaborate to threaten Nigeria’s security, peace – Rep

By KEMI KASUMU

A clue into why insecurity has gone viral across Nigeria has been provided with a Federal lawmaker revealing how insecurity agents in both North and South collaborate against the country, over unverifiable reason of making money like leaders of government.

Making this known in a Channels Television’s interview on state of the nation captured in a video clip available to The DEFENDER was Hon. Yunusa Ahmad Abubakar, member representing Yamaltu/Deba Federal Constituency at the nation’s House of Representatives.

Hon. Abubakar told his media host how three people he know were kidnapped in Abuja by Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, members and taken through the bandits until they were delivered to Boko Haram, who settled their kidnappers and then negotiated the preys for ransom.

He, however, was sad that despite available intelligence records about the locations of these evil merchants, the security agencies had not been able to end their existence, a problem he blamed on lack of patriotism.

“If the country is worth living, then it is worth dying for. That is number one.

“Again, when you are talking about the whole problems now, be it Boko Haram that is what you call terrorist, cattle rustlers, bandits, farmer/herders, IPOB, whatever, they are now interwoven.

“Why do I say so? I have two, three principal witnesses. They were kidnapped here in Abuja by some people you can term the IPOB group. They took them to these bandits, cattle rustlers and onward to Boko Haram, then settled those people (kidnappers) and then the Book Haram negotiated them for ransom.

Interjected by the anchor who asked, “So they are all related now?” Hon. Abubakar said, “That is the issue.”

He said: “That is why the issue becomes more complex. I have three people that were kidnapped and they went through this scerio.

“The astonishing part of it, the security agencies know all these their camps; be it banditry, camp,be it Boko Haram.

“We said look, NiComSat? We have satellite. A common secondary school student now can do drone to track something. Do you think intelligencia doesn’t have that record? They do. That exactly is the issue. Lack of patriotism.

“A lot of people are trying to make money because of this phantom that people in the Presidency are making money, ministers are making money, members of the National Assembly are making money and so I, too, must make my own money.

“Let’s say the Boko Haram are educated religiously by their own definition of religion. But come to these bandits, they don’t have all that. People that take weeds, drugs, uneducated as far as Western civilization is concerned, these people you call Fulani, Fulani, or whatever you call them, they are the uncivillised people. They can kill and main like nothing.

“So, those are the people and they are now being integrated.”

Hon. Yunusa Ahmad Abubakar was born on July 8th, 1959. The 61 years old is from Yalmatu/Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State.
