The Group said, “How else do we interprete his statement which run as follows: ‘Every honest Nigerian knows that there is no way any non-Northern Muslim President could have done a fraction of what Buhari has done by his nepotism and got away with it. There would have been a military coup a long time ago or we would have been in a War.’ – Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah. “What other meaning could this reckless utterances be apart from calling for a ‘military coup?”

Although Bishop of Sokoto Diocese of Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Matthew Hassan Kukah, on Tuesday, denied that he did not call for coup against President Muhammadu Buhari Administration in his clearly stated Christmas message, Nigerians, who understand the use of Language expecially English and its grammatical functions, have refused to accept his excuse.

The DEFENDER reports that Kukah in his denial was however adamant as he said his statement about Buhari’s government stands even as he failed to deny that he called Islam a violent religion, a comment that earned him the qualification of “a first class blackmailers” by the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC).

Among Nigerians who refuse to accept even the denial if the cleric, as individuals and groups, are the Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria (MMWG), Frank Odili and Ayekoto Akindele, strong opinion movers on social media.

The MMWG maintained that Kukah’s denial is falsehood and an afterthought.  According to the Group, the statement credited to Bishop Kukah was carried by National and International Media as well as reputable social media platform in the same way which is a confirmation of what he actually said.

The Group said, “How else do we interprete his statement which run as follows:

‘Every honest Nigerian knows that there is no way any non-Northern Muslim President could have done a fraction of what Buhari has done by his nepotism and got away with it. There would have been a military coup a long time ago or we would have been in a War.’ – Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah.

“What other meaning could this reckless utterances be apart from calling for a ‘military coup? Kukah has relegated himself too low with this inflammable remarks confirming the fact that he is not an intellectual or religious leader that people assumed him to be but an errand-boy of some discredited  politicians,” the Group stated.

In his own submission, Frank Ofili tells what he could have done with an all-important Christmas message with which he said the Reverend father erred.

“I prefer to talk about Nigeria; I hate to talk north-south or Christian-Muslim or such other classifications.

“Common sense tells me that if I am a man of God and I want to send Christmas message to my flock, drawing an analogy and inserting in it the word ‘coup’ or even making such statements as “non-northern muslim leader” isn’t exactly a wise thing to do in a polity like ours.”

In his post titled, “BREAKING: STOP CHASING WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY-MADE PMB PYO ADMINISTRATION WILL END 2023 GOC,” Ayekooto Akindele said:

“If those who removed Buhari from power in 1985 knew he would ever come back, they would have killed him like Balewa, Ironsi or Murtala. They never imagined there would ever be a Buhari Presidency….they spotted a likely emergence of Idiagbon, they poisoned him immediately….lol. Not funny actually.

“They thought Buhari Ambition would be a lifetime joke but when they saw the reality in 2014, they organized assassins to kill him in Kaduna his beloved city, he is from Katsina but based in Kaduna. Just like they killed Bola Ige in Ibadan his beloved city, he was from Esa Oke but based in Ibadan. However, Buhari escaped but his car was shot many times and convoy bombed!!!

“Buhari defeated the combination of his destiny truncators. Just like MOSES too, if the Egyptians knew he would free their slaves, they would have killed him inside the palace when he was a baby.  After all, they killed other babies…

“Even as the President, Buhari was poisoned, those who poisoned him knew he couldn’t have survived because others like Abiola, Abacha, Idiagbon didn’t survive. The mystery of his survival has turned the reasoning of his assailants upside down. The Buhari they know is dead. Just like MOSES was different when he reappeared to the Egyptians. He wasn’t running away again, he called Pharaoh by name, he messed up all the Dubai Magicians of Egypt…Moses was the First Jubrin from Sudan!!!

“2021 is sealed because the Egyptians must contest with Moses, Moses did not die and Moses has taken up the challenge to ensure that the oppressed people of God remain free!!!

“Good Morning to all Buharists all over the world and Happy New Year to us.”
