“We will all behave like Yerima. We will stand our ground respectfully without insulting anyone and we will just match on. In 2027, he will be gone. It’s non-negotiable, he is gone already.

Standing on the existing machinery power of control with which All Progressives Congress (APC) was able to unseat a 16-year-old government of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015, Special Assistant to the President during the two-term tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, inaugurated an ADC Supporter Group known named ADC Movement For A Better Nigeria, on Wednesday November 12, 2025.

The former Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) also launched the maiden edition of the Group’s magazine at a ceremony well attended by leaders of the movement.

The event, as with other ADC gatherings, showcased the enthusiasm and passion in the determination of Nigerians to see a better Nigeria.

Speaking at the event on Wednesday, Lauretta Onochie, fondly called Mama Due Process in the Buhari’s Presidency, Saud, “This is the beginning of inauguration of Support Groups for ADC. Now, for those of you who came with us from APC you would know that we had something they called Buhari Support Organisation. It had some Support Groups together. That is what we are starting here today.

“So, this is going to be the oldest brother or oldest sister of many, many, many more of such support groups to come,” she said to the rowsing applause and cheers with chants of “A-D-C!” from attendees who stood up to appreciate, telling her, “Thank you ma.”

Continuing, she said, “So, Tinubu has no pathway to return in 2027. We are not saying ‘Maybe or maybe’, No. He’s gone. Tinubu has gone. Because we are democratic, we understand what democracy is. He was elected chosen by the people including me standing here and, shamefully and regrettably too, we will walk gently, we are not going to be running around or fighting or doing whatever they are doing. We are not going to go with them.

“We will all behave like Yerima. We will stand our ground respectfully without insulting anyone and we will just match on. In 2027, he will be gone. It’s non-negotiable, he is gone already,” she said at a time a young officer of the Nigeria chose institution over personality during what many described as a ministerial drama script acted by Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike in Abuja on Tuesday November 11, 2025.

“So, on behalf of our beloved party and on behalf of everyone that is holding the ground in this nation – you call it grassroots we call it holding the ground, it’s a language we all need to know, President Buhari taught us: ‘You hold the ground, hold where you are’ – so on behalf of all of us and I believe everyone here joins in the inauguration, we inaugurate this group launch its magazine,” she said.
