Hon Francis Waive congratulates Omo-Agege over conferment of national honour

The Member Representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Francis Ejiroghene Waive, has sent his congratulatory message to Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on his being conferred with the national honour, as Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to copy of the message to The DEFENDER, Hon. Waive says, “In an era of leadership deficit in Nigeria, this National Honour bestowed on a worthy personality as you, is the hallmark of hope that in the midst of our many travails as a Nation, occasioned by the tragedy of leadership, that there are still strong individuals inspiring confidence and adding to the legislative, socio-economic, human-capital and political value chain of our great Nation-Nigeria.

“This National Honour is indeed in recognition of the tremendous contributions you have made to the development of Delta Central and Nigeria in general. This is truly well deserved and it shows that your efforts, determination, dedication, energy, sacrifice and commitment to excellence has certainly paid off.

“This award is not only a further confirmation of your remarkable leadership qualities and sincerity of purpose, but it is a call for you not to relent in offering more purposeful leadership service to Nigerians.

“It is my sincere hope that this award will help galvanize you into using the legislative arm of Government under the progressive platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to proffer more solutions to the myriad of challenges confronting our dear Nation.

“Therefore, with all sense of pride and satisfaction I congratulate you, His Excellency, The Deputy Senate President, Obarisi, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for your invaluable contributions to the development of our dear Nation-Nigeria,” he said.
