Governor el-Rufai rallies community, traditional leaders towards peace in Kaduna
Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai of Kaduna State on Thursday met with Kaduna State Peace Commission and community leaders from different districts within Kaduna metropolis.
Following the relaxation of the curfew in Kaduna, confidence and peace-building efforts are continuing.
The state Governor was at State House, Kawo, where he met with community and traditional leaders from five districts of Kaduna metropolis.
The Governor working in his tireless efforts to ensure that peace has returned to Kaduna State and to sustained peace in State.
At the meeting were community leaders from Kabala West, Mararaban Rido, Narayi, Rido Village and Kabala Doki.
Rev. Dr. Josiah Idowu-Fearon, Secretary-General of the Anglican Communion, who is also the Chairman of the Kaduna State Peace Commission also attended the meeting.
