FG determines to tack insecurity in Zamfara as VP Shettima, welcomes Gov Lawal to APC

VP Shettima also said opposition parties like the ADC, PDP, and others will not win in Zamfara State because all major politicians in the state are united together.
The Federal Government has expressed it’s determination and commitment to end insecurity in Zamfara State.
This was disclosed by the vice president of Nigeria Kashim Shettima during a reception to welcome Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara into APC at trade fair complex in Gusau.
He said the Federal Government has adopted several measures to make sure that the insecurity have come to an end in zamfara state and Nigeria as a priority of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu administration.
The Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, who led 10 other governors, including the national party chairman, to formally welcome Governor Dauda Lawal into All Progressives Congress (APC) sympathize with the people of Zamfara State over the frequent bandits attack.
The Vice President welcomed the governor, assembly members, cabinet members, and thousands of APC supporters during a reception on Tuesday at the Trade Fair Complex in Gusau.
The governors that graced the event are those of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, Abba Kabir Yusuf (Kano), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Caleb Muftwang (Plateau), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Ahmad Aliyu (Sokoto), Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), Dikko Radda (Katsina), Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe) and chairman progressive governors forum Hope Odidika Uzodinma (Imo).
Also in attendance were the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, APC Governors Forum Chairman, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, as well as ministers, party chieftains, and other dignitaries.
The VP prayed for unity, progress, and peaceful coexistence under the Tinubu administration, assuring that the President is doing all he can to secure lives and property across the nation.
VP Shettima also said opposition parties like the ADC, PDP, and others will not win in Zamfara State because all major politicians in the state are united together.
He expressed full support for Governor Lawal, applauding the people of the state for their support for their governor and the APC.
In his speech, Governor Lawal assured party leaders and supporters of his commitment to ensuring fairness and justice for everyone. He also pledged to continue with his rescue mission working for the people of the State.
Former governors of Zamfara State: Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Muhammad Bello Matawalle Minister for state defense, and Mahmuda Shinkafi, graced the occasion and agreed to work with Governor Dauda Lawal 2nd term election bid.
