The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday approved a sum of N20.8 billion for the rehabilitation of the Ikorodu-Sagamu road in Lagos and Ogun States.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammad, stated this while briefing State House correspondents after the FEC meeting.
The meeting, which lasted over five hours, was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The minister said the project, when completed, woud reduce operating cost and enhance movement of petroleum and agricultural products in the region.
The Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, said the council approved N4.3 billion for the design, manufacture and installation of fire and smoke detector for the School of Aviation, Zaria.
The Ministers of Sports and Education, Solomon Dalong and Adamu Adamu, said they briefed the council on the activities of their respective ministries since 2015.
