Fayose may now have met his waterloo as lawmaker fire hits him from within following lawmaker’s defection to APC – Reports

*Say only Fayose of 36 governors abuses Buhari without restraint

*Governor will soon blame Presidency for his new predicament – Respondent

*Says $35m arms money allegation still on the neck of “reckless governor”

“Nigerians are already aware of the health status of President Buhari and there is no vacuum in the Presidency to warrant the unnecessary outburst of the governor who has been deceiving Nigerians that all is well with Ekiti people.”

A member of Ekiti State House of Assembly, who recently defected to the APC, Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan, has advised Governor Ayodele Fayose to address the hardship faced by the people of his state and stop making “disparaging comments” on the health status of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Aribisogan, who represents Ikole Constituency 1 in the assembly dominated by PDP, said the governor had made himself a laughing stock out of the 36 governors of the federation by his action urging him to desist from making inflammatory statements out of political brinkmanship.

Aribisogan was suspended by fellow lawmakers for 180 legislative days in October last year but stormed the Assembly three weeks ago to resume office, defected from the APC to the PDP last week with about 200 followers.

The lawmaker while reacting to Fayose’s comments that the ailing President  Buhari is on life support machine in a London hospital, said in a statement on Saturday that “irresponsible  utterances and actions” have eroded the governor’s credibility in the eyes of responsible Nigerians who have been praying for the President’s recovery.

He described Fayose as “a disaster in governance” whose personal attacks on the President has not portrayed him as a true Yoruba son who cherishes the tradition and respect for age and position.

“I will like to describe his (Fayose’s) outburst as ranting of a governor who has failed to address the numerous challenges facing his people. Ekiti people are suffering, workers have not been paid for several months, and people are hungry.

“Those who have laboured in their active years are now being punished by not being paid their pension and children are being sent home because parents can no longer pay their school fees, many are dying daily because the governor has no plan for the health of his people.

“The governor, rather than pay attention to these challenges , has made the abuse of President Buhari a major policy of his administration. Nigerians are already aware of the health status of President Buhari and there is no vacuum in the Presidency to warrant the unnecessary outburst of the governor who has been deceiving Nigerians that all is well with Ekiti people.”

Aribisogan added: “Out of the 36 governors in Nigeria, Mr. Fayose is the only one who has been abusing President Buhari without restraint and he has continued to portray Ekiti people as the enemy of the Federal Government through his action and utterances.

Also speaking on separate occasion to The DEFENDER, a respondent said Fayose, “a rabble rouser”, instead of him telling Nigerians how he wants to be escorted to prison for his political and economic crimes and recklessness against Nigeria and Ekiti State, keeps ranting. He added that people were waiting for him.

“Now that the reckless rabble rousing Ekiti State governor Fayose has met what I can call his waterloo as one of the lawmakers he relied upon won’t impeach him while leaving governance for his anti-Buhari offensives is now all out at his jugular, he will soon cry out to say the cabals in the Presidency are the ones using Aribisogan to bring him down. Do you need anybody to drown a governor who drowned himself from the very beginning of his journey to government house?

“Now he has on his neck allegation of $35 million equivalent of over N5.2 billion at N165 to one Dollar which he collected from Jonathan to contest as governor of Ekiti. After all his denials, Musiliu Obanikoro who delivered the money to him and the driver who loaded the money twice from Akure Airport to his places have confronted him with facts and figures. Now instead of him to tell us how he had wants to be escorted to Kuje or Kirikiri prison, he keeps ranting like a breast sucking baby. We are waiting for his time and it will come soonest,” the respondent said.
