Former Director General, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Dr Nasir Danladi Bako, has congratulated the Sokoto State Governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on what he calls his resounding victory at the Gubernatorial election held of Saturday March 18, 2023.
“This is a victory well deserved for yourself , the party and the good people of our dear state especially the young generation”, Dr Bako, a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council Media, said.
Particular mention and commendation was heaped on the All Progressives Congress leader in Sokoto and former Governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wammako, “for his indefatigable leadership and unrivalled doggedness in steering the party to this hard-earned victory.”
The Kogunan Sokoto said that, “Praise must also go to the Minister of Police Affairs, Director General of the State Gubernatorial campaign council and Katukan Sokoto Alh Maigari Dingyadi for his sterling performance in ensuring the victory of the All Progressives Congress in Sokoto.”
Dr Danladi Bako, who was a colleague Commissioner of the governor-elect testified to the loyalty and selfless service of Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and wished him Allah’s guidance in his new assignment.
