Emir of Ilorin congratulates Emir of Bichi on 60th birthday
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado-Bayero OFR, on his 60th birthday celebrations.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, described Emir Nasiru Ado-Bayero as a resourceful traditional ruler with global connections and strong commitments for grassroot development.
The monarch noted that the celebrant’s track records of holding several prestigious traditional titles before his ascension to the throne such as; Tafidan Kano and District Head of Waje, District Head of Nassarawa local government and Tarauni on the same status before he was later promoted to hold the title of Turakin Kano during the reign of the late 13th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, are all great accomplishments.
“Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, on behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council heartily rejoice with His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Nasiru Ado-Bayero OFR on this auspicious occasion of his 60th birthday.
“May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen the celebrant and grant him sound health in the meritorious service to Bichi Emirate, Kano State and humanity in general”, the statement added.
