Seriki said, “The Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria group is ready to mobilise Nigerians against Governor Fayose’s attempt to escape justice if he has skeleton in his cupboard.  BACN group and Nigerians understand his game plan very well but this time around there is no room for that kind of game in Nigeria any longer.”

A word has come from the Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria Group (BACN), Canada, that no matter how smart the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, thinks he is, he cannot escape justice after his tenure except that skeletons are not found in his cupboard.

Governor Fayose came out on Wednesday with a alarm that originated only from him and facts of which were available to him and no other persons including the security men and media.  All the stories about the attacks and how they happened have so far been told, according to the information provided by the governor alone.

Unfortunately, those who are so far attacking the Nigerian government, over the purported attacks on the governor now called “dramastists” by some angry Nigerians, are only from his Party, the PDP particularly the PDP allies in the National Assembly.

Angered by the attitude of the governor and the seriousness attached to the “lies” by opposition figures in the country, the BACN said Nigerians are not going to condone the deceiving and manipulating game of People Democratic Party (PDP) and their allies any longer.

In its periodic message Thursday, President of the Ontario, Canadian capital City-based group, Mr. Waheed Seriki, vowed that its increasing membership strength was prepared to mobilize Nigerians against Governor Fayose’s attempt to escape justice if he is found culpable.

Seriki said, “The Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria group is ready to mobilise Nigerians against Governor Fayose’s attempt to escape justice if he has skeleton in his cupboard.

“BACN group and Nigerians understand his game plan very well but this time around there is no room for that kind of game in Nigeria any longer.

“If Governor Fayose thinks he is preparing to use medical treatment abroad as an excuse to escape justice after his tenure as governor of Ekiti State, he must have another thinking coming. There is no room for Fayose abroad if he has case to answer when he leaves office. Most especially if the case will relate to corruption charges.

“The BACN will ensure that Governor Fayose is repatriated back to Nigeria after his tenure as governor of Ekiti State if he has case to answer and he ran out of country.

“The BACN will use legal and constitutional weapon to ensure that Fayose will not be accommodated wherever he runs to when he quits Ekiti government, if it happens that he has corruption case to account for.

“The era of deceiving and manipulating Nigerians to stall corruption cases is over. If government cannot stop it, the BACN group is fully prepared to mobilise Nigerians to stop any criminal that will attempt to use foul play and bribing judiciary to escape justice in Nigeria.

“The BACN will not hesitate to mobilise Nigerians and organize mass protest against anyone and his paid judiciary that tries to use his position or influence to obstruct or stall justice in Nigeria, or tries to use deceit to get off the hook of justice.

“Nigerians are no fool. We know what is happening between some judiciary and influential criminals in power. If those criminals and their cabal refuse to stop the obstruction game a justice and buying of justice, Nigerians will be mobilized by BACN group to force them to stop the criminal act.

“No matter how PDP or CUPP tries to criticise or hold government responsible for Governor Fayose’s lies and deceits that he was teargased, shot, slapped and collapsed, if he has skeleton in his cupboard, he will be forced to account for it in full.

“Fayose should advice his lawyers to get prepared very well for his incoming prosecution.

“The BACN group will ensure no one will use foul game to escape justice in Nigeria any longer.  Henceforth, justice must prevail in all corruption charges without fair or favours in our home country Nigeria,” he said.
