A public commentator and analyst, Dr. Uche Diala, has sent a word of caution to the proprietor of the refinery company in a post via his verified Facebook social media network Thursday night.

He said, “Alhaji Aliko Dangote, See Caution! Take Caution!” He continued, “Fix the price of your PMS and publicly announce it to Nigerians. Allow whoever meets your distribution requirements to come and buy, lift and re-sell.

“Do not play into the hands of those who just yesterday accused (you) of monopoly. They haven’t suddenly repented. Do not be a party to continued keeping us in bondage.

“I do not know what arrangement or deal you have with NNPCL to make it your middleman and sole offtaker, but remember that that is against the spirit and letters of the PIA (Petroleum Industry Act).

“If you have any arrangement with NNPCL, including for it to pay you any subsidy (shortfall) on your product to manipulate the price of the product, make it public to Nigerians today.

“Tomorrow might be too late. Trust me, they will still blame and use you as a whipping dog tomorrow.

“Nigerians need to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from you today,” Dr. Uche Diala said.
