By IBRAHIM KANOMA, Gusau

A stallwat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has urged people of the state to disregard Senator Kabir Marafa’s antics of politics of divide and rule.

Dr. Shinkafi made this plea while addressing journalists in his Gusau home, on the party’s just concluded ward congress in the state.

He said Kabir Marafa was just out to cause confusion in the united family of APC in the Zamfara Sate.

He, further, said Marafa has no valid membership of APC because, according to him, he did not renew his membership during the membership renewal exercise of the APC.

Dr Shinkafi wondered how somebody, who had not renewed his membership of the party, could claim to have conducted a valid congress without the approval of national secretariat of the party and INEC.

The party chieftain said Senator Kabir Marafa wanted create unnecessary crisis for the APC in Zamfara State.

He said the headquarters of APC only recognized the APC under the leadership of Governor Bello, Matawalle Maradun.

He called on Marafa to go and renew his membership of APC and join Governor Matawalle in bringing positive development to the people of the state, particularly in the area of insecurity that has become worrisome to people of the state.

He appealed to the people, particularly politicians, to give the government of Bello Matawalle all the necessary support and encouragement to succeed in its endeavours.

Shinkafi advised the people, who have not renewed their APC membership, to do so particularly the former Governor, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, and his group.

He called on all APC supporters nationwide to support his move to to contest for APC National Chairman so as to reposition the party.
